The key to the thickness is frozen bananas. To freeze bananas, slice them and lay on a parchment lined sheet pan. Freeze until firm and transfer to a freezer bag.
When trying to decide the flavor profile of this smoothie, I wanted a creamy vanilla flavor. The obvious answer is vanilla yogurt, but since you’re already getting sugar from the fruit, I went with unsweetened Greek yogurt and a dash of vanilla extract. A bit of Yucatan Honey to give it a floral touch makes it perfect. Feel free to adjust based on your preferences.
